The entire concept of ‘Divine Source’ and ‘we all being one’ is encapsulated in beautiful decorations and presented to us in gift wrap where a lay man keeps unwrapping the box just to find another one waiting to be unwrapped further. Finally when one reaches the last box, with utmost excitement, it reveals a small piece of a large ocean of knowledge which gives rise to further confusions. This is because when people, who have experienced enlightenment and different stages of ascension, pen down these experiences, it seems unreal to most of us who have not even heard of such things. Hence it becomes very difficult to understand concept of soul and we think it’s a ‘high level’ stuff.
Believe me, it’s not……Let’s get started and unleash this great mystery (mystery that exists only in our mind).

So who are we?…… Interesting question!
We are a body made up of 5 elements….earth, water, fire, wind and space. Our body is like a cover where our soul resides. As soul needs to have a physical form to be able to perform action and exist on earth, it resides in a body. Hence another phenomena can now be understood- why do we say that a soul has departed. That’s because soul never dies. At the time of demise, the soul leave the body (departs) to find a new body. This is the reason why many people remember things from their past lives. The soul travels several lifetimes and carries the imprints of those lifetimes with it. Body is different but soul is same, collecting more data, more sanskara, and more experiences from each life time. These factors govern our nature and personality in present lifetime. Yes, our family and background do help us to construct our habits and nature but to a certain extent. Every parent tries to inculcate almost same set of values to their kids, then why is it that every kid on earth is different from each other. We all are unique in our own way. That’s because our present qualities, passions, nature are also governed by our past lives (our soul has travelled till date). A painter in past life will definitely have passion towards painting in present lifetime because his soul carries that imprint.
Once the soul departs, the person is announced as ‘dead’. The deceased body is cremated / buried so that it can return to the 5 basic elements from which it was created initially.
Once the soul receives Moksha, it gets united with the divine source – GOD- the supreme power. To reach there is the ultimate goal of each soul on earth. But for this every soul has to clear his/her karmic account. Once done with the lessons of life, the soul then becomes one with the main source.
This journey of each soul is a collection of huge database derived from various lifetimes. The soul chooses its parents and in some cases every relationship…in order to clear the karmic account.
