Dream it! ~ Hope Fitzgerald

Feeling Inspired yet? As we learned during the Infinity Circle last Monday (recording HERE), the astrology of 2023 will crank up the pace of life, especially after the 21st when the retrograded planets will all finally be direct.  Fortunately, we still have a few days to gather ourselves before this new launch of energy. (All I can say is, fasten your seatbelts!) If you’re feeling any urgency, that’s good because our time for definitively choosing what’s right/wrong for us is here.  We’ve been preparing for this for the last few years and now the first ripples of the Aquarian Age are upon us, even before Pluto moves into Aquarius in March. Why such a fuss about what Pluto's up to? Because when Pluto moves around, big changes tend to happen. Evolutionary changes that affect life forever. (If you listen to the Infinity Circle recording, you'll hear what I mean.) Insight Astrology puts it this way: "Pluto rules, or perhaps represents, the cycle of life, death and rebirth in the universe. As human beings, born with an innate tendency towards attachment, we revere this cycle but we also greatly fear it.  The principle of Pluto is essential. Without death there can be no life. The process of decay is what creates the soil that nourishes the seed. Mythologically, we see Pluto in the tale of the phoenix rising from the ashes, in the symbolism of the easter egg and in the Christian idea of being ‘born again’. Pluto brings us very close to this process and this can be painful.

Inspired Leaping ~ Hope Fitzgerald

What do you think? Should we leap blindly leaping into the sea of inspiration called 2023? I'm game if you are! Seriously, what do we have to lose? We've already started the year off nicely with a week of rest and contemplation thanks to a stunning line-up of beautiful beings who visited us each night during the 7 Days of Rest program. For those of you who joined the calls, I thank you deeply - your presence made it infinitely more special and impactful.

Oh, Wondrous Night! ~ Hope Fitzgerald

As we approach the Winter Solstice (my favorite night of the year) on Wednesday, we're pulled into the long night of deep dark, a place of sweet surrender and contemplation. We're invited to honor this dark in reverence for the gifts it brings: a sacred silence, gratitude for having made it through another year, and a hushed Wonder at the miracle of Life itself. Recently, the Hathors have been instructing us about how to move into stillness and now I understand the timeliness of their guidance, for this moment of quiet is an opportunity to lay down our burdens, our worries, our pain and return to our essence...

Will wonders never cease? ~ Hope Fitzgerald

We can't really be sure, but I believe that when we're paying attention, it delivers quiet information to us pretty much constantly. And then there are those unforgettable moments when it speaks incredibly loudly... Sometimes it provides stunning synchronicities so wonderous that you can almost hear a choir of angels singing as we are opened to new perspectives and realities - these are the WOW moments. And sometimes, it's more like a 2x4 to the head that raises awareness through painful situations - these are the UGH moments.

Building Faith Through Everyday Miracles… ~ Hope Fitzgerald

ope the dynamics of that mighty moon and eclipse on Monday have benefitted you in starting a significant new chapter in your life. I was awed to witness it while participating in an impromptu prayer ceremony under a sacred mountain with my dear friend, Gary Malkin, and friends – what a place to experience the ‘tipping point’ moment I spoke about earlier this month!

Even in the Depths of Space… ~ Hope Fitzgerald

“A twisted ring of gas, one that stretches more than 600 light-years across the heart of the Milky Way galaxy, has been discovered by astronomers using the powerful infrared Herschel space telescope. The gaseous ring, which gives birth to new stars, has a kink in the middle, such that it looks like a cosmic infinity symbol.” - SPACE.com I'm sharing this awe-inspiring image as a reminder that this geometry exists just about everywhere, even in deepest space.

Turning Disharmony into Harmony ~ Hope Fitzgerald

To achieve inner harmony in today's chaotic world might be the most important thing we can do for our soul's hygiene because, as we know, it affects not only us but also those around us.  So, it stands to reason that the more harmonious we are on the inner planes, the better for everyone. Often, it's obvious when we're out of sorts but, sometimes, we're not even aware that we're a-kilter internally. Have you ever yearned for a way to quickly shift yourself from disharmony into harmony? Or even tell if you actually are in disharmony? Of course, I recommend the soothing waters of the Infinity Wave to quickly and easily restore balance and equanimity, but there are countless other traditions that also have excellent ways to achieve this.

Harmonizing with the Heavens… ~ Hope Fitzgerald

As you probably know, we're in the midst of what's known as the Lion's Gate portal, which happens every year sometime between 7/28 and 8/12, but is celebrated tomorrow on 8/8. Supposedly, it's "the opening of a rare window between the spiritual and physical worlds that takes place as the Sun in Leo, the star Sirius (our brightest star), the Orion's Belt constellation, and the planet Earth all come into alignment." (Kate Rose)

The Vibration of Harmony ~ Hope Fitzgerald

Even though it's the last day of July, I just couldn't wait another minute to introduce August's theme of Harmony to you! It's such a huge topic, but I'll do my best to cover at least a few aspects ... Building on Acceptance from last month, you can appreciate how we're progressing through Harmony towards the culmination of the 99 Days of Peace on the Fall Equinox, September 21. Logically, it's easy to understand that Acceptance leads to Harmony... and Harmony leads to Peace. And because we all so desperately want Peace on Earth, we might be inclined to jump right over into the vibration of Peace... but we can't without the necessary adjustments along the way.

Body Talk ~ Hope Fitzgerald

In our continued discovery of deep gratitude this month, let's begin with the most basic thing: our physical presence on this Earth. Don't we all take this blessing for granted sometimes? Anyone who has witnessed or experienced a birth of any kind can't help but feel an insuppressible joy at the miracle of new life but the question is, can we maintain that same wonder and gratitude as when we encounter our bodies? For the truth is, they're every bit as miraculous now as they were then. To move into a deeper appreciation for our bodies, let's dive in...

Conjuring Grace ~ Hope Fitzgerald

And welcome to the lovely month of June. It's one of my favorite months because of the abundance of flowers everywhere - in rain or shine, when the irises, peonies and daisies all bloom together, it just makes my heart sing! There's something about a flower's combination of beauty, fragility and strength that brings the month's theme of Grace to mind. Yet, that doesn't even begin to describe it... It's one of those things that you know when you're in it, but it's impossible to nail down. As I searched to define the elusive Grace, I found not an answer, but a conundrum... Some wise teachers have said that Grace is always within us, always in reach:

Faith when nothing makes sense… ❤️~ Hope Fitzgerald

I have to admit that I'm almost at a loss for words... please bear with me as I stumble through this. This month, we've looked at Faith in the natural world, in ourselves, in each other and in our unseen helpers. Today I was going to discuss Faith in Action, but with the heaviness of our current news, I feel I must address what to do when our Faith is shaken to the core by the deeds of others, in this case an unhappy, misguided boy. As I write this, a gentle spring breeze wafts over me and I hear the migrating birds serenading in the background. I'm doing my best to let these soothe my broken heart over these events. If you remember from May’s Infinity Circle, one of the most important astrological events of the year is the Total Lunar Eclipse that occurs today primarily in the southern hemisphere. (The effects will last much longer, of course.) Between the closeness of this super-Moon and Venus’s open heart, you can expect emotions to be running high. Scorpio also figures in this 90-minute event with its themes of power and control (and possible disclosure of long-held secrets). “None of us knows what might happen even the next minute, yet still we go forward. Because we trust. Because we have faith” a popular quote by Paulo Coelho comes to mind as I started writing this blog. In a recent, fascinating chat between two people I admire very much, Dowser Rory Duff and Astrologer Pam Gregory, Rory refers to the galactic "sheet" that's been moving through the cosmos and enveloping us right now, something I learned about from another name back in 2012 (see image above). Periodic bursts from the galactic center happen roughly every 12,000 years and cause huge shifts in evolution as evidenced in geology and ice cores. These cycles might also explain the "Yugas" from Hindu cosmology.
