As I sadly walk down the embankment, I remember 2010 when I started my journey in independent waters and felt happy but scared.

Walks along the embankment were a balm to me on which I repeated my affirmations out loud, making sure everything would be all right.

Sometimes I even knew how to cry under the weight of worry, doubt, and fear. But the movement, the chirping of birds and the softness of the green grass, somehow always managed to relax and calm me.

Even today, as I sifted through my memories, I came to the realization of what I had learned so far:

1. Worry, fear and doubt are a waste of energy

I know it’s hard to see how everything will be okay when you don’t have a job or you have very little, you don’t have money or you have very little, but I always believed that really EVERYTHING WILL BE OK. And so it was. With a little faith and a lot of effort, everything always works out.

2. Positive affirmations really help

As much as their realization seemed impossible at the time, their repetition and belief brought me to a state of peace. By repeating them repeatedly, I changed negative beliefs in my subconscious and changed the chemical processes in my brain.

3. I believe in myself and my talent

At first I was critical of my way of working, thinking I didn’t know enough yet or that I wasn’t good enough, but I believed that with effort and discipline I could learn a lot and be great at what I do. And it was like that. The learning process will of course never stop, but self-confidence has gained a firmer foundation.

4. Even when I was TERRIBLY scared I didn’t give up

I never gave up on what I believed in. I knew that no matter how things were going at the time, someone would one day recognize my efforts.

And when I was overwhelmed by fatigue from fear and when I cried with grief, I always forced myself to do at least something.

By doing so, I also silenced my Lower Self, which would either sabotage me to do something or create a sense of guilt when I did not do something.

Opposing this “inner demon” on a daily basis was my biggest victory.

5. Trust only in yourself and forget about others

At first, we like to be surrounded by friends who give us support and people who offer us their help, but above all, we have to RELY ON OURSELVES.

Don’t put off tasks because “someone there promised to do something for us, so until then I’d better not start anything”.

Always think in a way that you are alone and that everything depends only on you. Others are a welcome alternative, but they may change their mind for some reason. Whatever happens, you will always be ready.

6. You are ready even when you think you are not ready

How many times have you caught yourself in the thoughts of the guy: “I’m just going to learn this and then I’ll be good enough. This course, this workshop and then everything will fall into place.

But I must tell you that with such thinking you will never reach the level at which you will be completely satisfied. There is no school that can give you what practice can give you. And so start realizing your dream as soon as possible. Everything else you need will come your way.

7. Procrastination is a sign of resistance, fear of success, gaining power

How many times have I just caught myself surfing Facebook or the internet for hours. Time would fly by in no time, I would not do the job and then I would end the day with a huge sense of guilt, promising myself that the next day I would do everything I had planned. The next day would come… and guess… I would do the same.

Until I realized that my procrastination was a deep inner resistance to change. If I decided to sit down and make a concept for some service, a cramp would appear in my body and I would seek salvation in worthless surfing.

Until I realized that a large part of me was sabotaging my success. I realized that there was an energy in me that was telling me that I wasn’t good enough and that I was stupid.

And every time I would sit in meditation, in which I wanted to solve my problem, a picture of a teacher in the 3rd grade of elementary school would appear, which embarrasses me for an hour because I didn’t know how to solve a math problem on the board.

At that point, I became convinced that I didn’t know, I wasn’t good enough and that I was stupid. It took a lot of energy and effort to unravel that belief.

Even today, I still feel it sometimes and at that moment I leave everything and dedicate myself completely to it because it succeeds if a part of you does not want it.

8. We all possess a talent for something

Each of us has chosen a profession that he will pursue in this life and that will bring him fulfillment and joy.

There is no greater happiness when we discover that talent. That talent then becomes a passion. Everything else is just surrogates. And as much as I thought I was good at something else (and I was), I always felt second-rate because it wasn’t really ME.

Find your talent and embody it. Your life will change completely and it will gain meaning.

9. We all have help from the spirit world

Each of us is surrounded by a wonderful retinue of helpers from the spirit world who are waiting for us to ask them for help.

Yes, they also have those tasks that we asked them before birth but we must always keep in mind that they are waiting for our call because they must not violate the rule of our free will.

But help (in the form in which we expect it) sometimes will not come if we have to learn a lesson or if it is not the right time for its manifestation.

Yet the realization that we are not alone makes it easier for us to deal more bravely with adversity and problems.

And NEVER think that you don’t deserve or aren’t good for your helpers. Remember that they know your soul and your path better than you do. It’s like saying a parent doesn’t love their child because it was naughty.

10. Be grateful

I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for my life.

And in those difficult days filled with emptiness, helplessness, and misery – I always found something I was grateful for. That sense of gratitude was the one that pulled me out of the darkness and said there was a reason to fight, get out of bed, and go after my dream.

And to this day there is no evening when I don’t give thanks for the day and all those wonderful things that made it special.

Today, when I look behind me and all those hard days, I can’t help but laugh and say to myself, “Well, you’re really brave.”

Each of us carries within us a great amount of courage and it will come to the fore when we know we are fighting for a good thing, OUR THING!
