Babaji speaks. In the flow of time or the no-time in which you exist, you have been yogis before and you are simply remembering these ways of focus and discipline; these ways of yoga or union with the Divine. And the longing is there – a longing deep in your soul of this experience of union with the Divine. Not the concept, not the learning, not the understanding or theory, but the true experience with which no thing on earth can compare.

The enclosed dialogue with Swami Vivekananda was recorded by his disciple Sharat, at Belur, in the year 1898. In it Swamiji describes in detail his experience of Nirvikalpa Samadhi or complete mergence with “Brahman” or God – the infinite and self-luminous consciousness.

Great God Realized Gurus after leaving their physical body, choose not to merge their Consciousness in God the Infinite Brahman. Instead they deliberately continue to maintain a separate existence by staying on in their subtle or causal bodies in order to help devotees. In this video, we visit 4 incidents related to Swami Vivekananda, which demonstrate this truth.

Purity forms the absolute bedrock of spirituality. Purity of heart comprises frankness, innocence, straightforwardness and absence of all evil thoughts. Only the pure in heart can attain to Samadhi (God-realization). Through his narration of enclosed story, Swami Vivekananda, who had himself attained to Nirvikalpa Samadhi, has tried to emphasize this very truth. This story which was a favorite of Swamiji’s, having been recounted to him over and over again in his childhood by his nurse, was retold by him to a small group of disciples at Thousand Island Park, in America.

The Light of Consciousness is Enlightenment,Samadhi. It is the door to Truth,Self,Divine. Merging ourselves into the Ultimate Source is about experiencing Oneness. The Boat of our Consciousness is tied to our body, thoughts, emotions.It is our shore.In an unconscious state We can go on rowing for lifetimes, endless lifetimes.But when ray of Light touches us and We wake up and look,We wasted lifetimes rowing yet have forgotten to untie the boat.
