We know your experiences are valid, and we would never tell you that your experiences are unreal. They are the realest part of your physical reality. Your experience of the chair, the flower, the sunset, the other person that you are communicating with, these are more real than anything else, and you are the one having the experiences. You are the one making the determinations about those experiences, and no one outside of you can tell you that you are wrong.

We are on a mission, and it is our mission to transform consciousness into its more natural state. We know that there are tremendous opportunities to do just that throughout the galaxy and the universe, and yet we also are very relaxed about the whole thing. You see, we know that everyone is where they are spiritually, because that particular experience they are having is a necessary component of Source’s experience of Itself. And so, if a consciousness is not ready to transform back into its natural state of oneness, love and peace, we simply allow that being to continue.

Lord Buddha was one of the great spiritual ideals of Swami Vivekananda (Swamiji), whom he worshiped with intense love and devotion, just as he did his guru Sri Ramakrishna. So full of pity that He – prince and monk – would give His life to save a little goat! So loving that He sacrificed himself to the hospitality of a pariah and blessed him!“ So immense was Swamiji’s reverence for Lord Buddha, Sister Nivedita relates, that he once told a lady “‘Madam, I am the servant of the servants of the servants of Buddha!’ as if even the title of a believer would seem, to his veneration, too exalted to claim.” So it is not at all surprising to note that the deeply cherished ideal – Lord Buddha Himself, choose to appear before his ardent devotee, to shower his blessings on 2 noteworthy occasions.

One day in Dakshineswar we had a long discussion with Swami Niranjanananda, a friend of ours, about whether human beings have free will; then we went to the Master for the definitive answer. The Master listened to us debate for a while and was amused. He then said seriously: “Is there any free will for anyone? Everything is happening and will happen eternally by God’s will. People understand this eventually. Let me give you an example: Here is a cow tied to a post with a long tether. She can walk one cubit from the post or up to the whole length of the tether.

As free will could be seen as a layer or veil of confusion, the capability of what is known within that veil is based upon the belief systems of the host as they exist within a free will matrix… But is there a way for such a veil to be transcended so that a human being may experience all within creation past such layers in this very lifetime? The feeling of being stuck can feel exhausting. One who feels like they don't have any energy left to keep walking this path may sense the need to collapse and not want to move again. But the idea here is that you are not stuck, you are exhausted, and there is a big difference between the two. The feeling of being stuck would relate to a hesitation in making a decision. You do realize there's a fork in the road ahead, but you become uncertain of where to walk. However, this too is an illusion. One that we will discuss shortly.

When a soul chooses the life they will incarnate into, much time is spent in determining what lessons and challenges will best serve the good of all.  A soul chooses the parents they will have, and therefore the family they will incarnate into.  Perhaps your choice of family may seem unfitting to you once you are in the incarnation however all souls chose their family based on the lessons and experiences they wanted to have ingrained within them at an early age. This allows you to ensure that you would have a particular perspective that would be the result of the family and beliefs you were raised within.

The important thing for you to recognize is that what you think is only true because of your idea, or your bias, about what you are thinking about. So how do you shift? How do you get from one perspective that you have held for a very long time to a bright and shiny new one? It is a matter of choice. This is where your free will comes into play. You can decide for yourself that you want to see something differently.
