Two of the most powerful words you can say are “I am.” Whichever words you use to follow these two words can have a significant impact on your external world and provide a lot of insight into the standards of your internal world.

Many times we unconsciously use words that come from a place of lack or insufficiency such as:

I am too old.

I am too fat.

I am not happy.

I am unloveable.

I am broke.

I am not smart enough.

I am not pretty enough.

I am not strong enough.

I am not good enough.

Unconsciously you can say this dialogue over and over (out loud or in your head) and have no true concept of how these words are shaping your choice and the life you’re living. The insufficiency of these words indicates self-lack and shows up as lack in your life.

One of the easiest ways to shift into a lack mindset is through fear. Fear keeps you from choosing supportive words and actions. And if you spend enough time in fear, its grip on your belief system grows stronger and stronger ultimately paralyzing you from choosing what makes you happiest. Many times when you choose to move out of your comfort zone you are choosing to explore new ideas, experiences, and people…all of which can enhance your growth and take you to new levels personally and/or professionally. But as soon as something doesn’t go right, fear can set in and coax you back into that circle of comfort, robbing you of potentially incredible opportunities.

So how do you shift out of a lack mentality (fear mode) and into a sufficient mentality (love mode) especially when you are trying to push the boundaries of your comfort zone?

Currently I’ve chosen to explore a life that is WAY out of my comfort zone and therefore it can be easy for me to shift into fear mode. But as scary as it is, it’s also the happiest I’ve ever been. It’s vital to maintain my exploration and not choose to succumb to my fears.

One of the ways I shift out of that fear is through a mini-meditation using 6 very powerful words:

This is a super easy and super powerful way to raise your vibrational frequency so that you:

A. stop attracting lack into your life and start attracting abundance

B. begin to truly FEEL sufficient and love in yourself

When you’re feeling sufficient and love, there is no room for fear. The stomach area is your 3rd chakra and is your self-empowerment center. This is where your confidence resides. Your heart area is your 4th chakra and is your self-love center. By stimulating these 2 chakras while repeating these 6 words ‘I am sufficient. I am love’ you are really amplifying your vibrational frequency, increasing your levels of confidence and self-worth, and will be able to notice a shift even in how you say the words out loud.

Remaining consciously aware of how you say your words is important. How you say or do anything is determined by your intention. As your intention becomes stronger, your words hold more power and you become more present in that energy field. While you practice this meditation, make notes of any changes in how you feel as you continue to repeat the words.

Do you say them louder as you continue?

Does the conviction behind your voice grow?

If you notice this happening then you are BELIEVING your words. You are holding space for the POWER of your words to expand.

If you allow yourself to surrender to this meditation and the opportunity to feel this shift, you may experience tears. Tears are a sign that you have shifted through an emotional barrier. Releasing those emotions is key to expanding your experience further. So don’t be afraid if this happens or feel like you need to shut it down. It’s all part of a beautiful process.

If you have a habit of speaking from a lack mentality, take a look at how the power of your words is showing up in your life. If you want to make a shift out of lack and into sufficiency or you’re really trying to push the boundaries of your comfort zone without succumbing to your fears, then use this easy and powerful meditation. Sometimes 5 min is all it takes!

Happy meditating! If you have any questions or experiences you’d like to share you can leave them in the comments below.
