{"id":17231,"date":"2020-10-29T09:29:20","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T15:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livinglibrarian.com\/new\/?p=17231"},"modified":"2020-10-29T10:04:13","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T16:04:13","slug":"what-did-i-learn-during-10-years-of-independent-work-natalija-pavlakovic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livinglibrarian.com\/new\/what-did-i-learn-during-10-years-of-independent-work-natalija-pavlakovic\/","title":{"rendered":"What did I learn during 10 years of independent work? ~ Natalija Pavlakovi\u0107"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 36pt;\">A<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">s I sadly walk down the embankment, I remember 2010 when I started my journey in independent waters and felt happy but scared.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Walks along the embankment were a balm to me on which I repeated my affirmations out loud, making sure everything would be all right.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Sometimes I even knew how to cry under the weight of worry, doubt, and fear. But the movement, the chirping of birds and the softness of the green grass, somehow always managed to relax and calm me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Even today, as I sifted through my memories, I came to the realization of what I had learned so far:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1. Worry, fear and doubt are a waste of energy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I know it\u2019s hard to see how everything will be okay when you don\u2019t have a job or you have very little, you don\u2019t have money or you have very little, but I always believed that really EVERYTHING WILL BE OK.\u00a0And so it was.\u00a0With a little faith and a lot of effort, everything always works out.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Positive affirmations really help<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">As much as their realization seemed impossible at the time, their repetition and belief brought me to a state of peace.\u00a0By repeating them repeatedly, I changed negative beliefs in my subconscious and changed the chemical processes in my brain.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. I believe in myself and my talent<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">At first I was critical of my way of working, thinking I didn\u2019t know enough yet or that I wasn\u2019t good enough, but I believed that with effort and discipline I could learn a lot and be great at what I do.\u00a0And it was like that.\u00a0The learning process will of course never stop, but self-confidence has gained a firmer foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Even when I was TERRIBLY scared I didn\u2019t give up<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I never gave up on what I believed in.\u00a0I knew that no matter how things were going at the time, someone would one day recognize my efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And when I was overwhelmed by fatigue from fear and when I cried with grief, I always forced myself to do at least something.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">By doing so, I also silenced my Lower Self, which would either sabotage me to do something or create a sense of guilt when I did not do something.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Opposing this \u201cinner demon\u201d on a daily basis was my biggest victory.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>5. Trust only in yourself and forget about others<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">At first, we like to be surrounded by friends who give us support and people who offer us their help, but above all, we have to RELY ON OURSELVES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Don&#8217;t put off tasks because &#8220;someone there promised to do something for us, so until then I&#8217;d better not start anything&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Always think in a way that you are alone and that everything depends only on you.\u00a0Others are a welcome alternative, but they may change their mind for some reason.\u00a0Whatever happens, you will always be ready.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>6. You are ready even when you think you are not ready<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">How many times have you caught yourself in the thoughts of the guy: \u201cI&#8217;m just going to learn this and then I&#8217;ll be good enough.\u00a0This course, this workshop and then everything will fall into place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But I must tell you that with such thinking you will never reach the level at which you will be completely satisfied.\u00a0There is no school that can give you what practice can give you.\u00a0And so start realizing your dream as soon as possible.\u00a0Everything else you need will come your way.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>7. Procrastination is a sign of resistance, fear of success, gaining power<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">How many times have I just caught myself surfing Facebook or the internet for hours.\u00a0Time would fly by in no time, I would not do the job and then I would end the day with a huge sense of guilt, promising myself that the next day I would do everything I had planned.\u00a0The next day would come\u2026 and guess\u2026 I would do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Until I realized that my procrastination was a deep inner resistance to change.\u00a0If I decided to sit down and make a concept for some service, a cramp would appear in my body and I would seek salvation in worthless surfing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Until I realized that a large part of me was sabotaging my success.\u00a0I realized that there was an energy in me that was telling me that I wasn\u2019t good enough and that I was stupid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And every time I would sit in meditation, in which I wanted to solve my problem, a picture of a teacher in the 3rd grade of elementary school would appear, which embarrasses me for an hour because I didn&#8217;t know how to solve a math problem on the board.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">At that point, I became convinced that I didn\u2019t know, I wasn\u2019t good enough and that I was stupid.\u00a0It took a lot of energy and effort to unravel that belief.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Even today, I still feel it sometimes and at that moment I leave everything and dedicate myself completely\u00a0<em>to it because it succeeds if a part of you does not want it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>8. We all possess a talent for something<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Each of us has chosen a profession that he will pursue in this life and that will bring him fulfillment and joy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">There is no greater happiness when we discover that talent.\u00a0That talent then becomes a passion.\u00a0Everything else is just surrogates.\u00a0And as much as I thought I was good at something else (and I was), I always felt second-rate because it wasn\u2019t really ME.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Find your talent and embody it.\u00a0Your life will change completely and it will gain meaning.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>9. We all have help from the spirit world<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Each of us is surrounded by a wonderful retinue of helpers from the spirit world who are waiting for us to ask them for help.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Yes, they also have those tasks that we asked them before birth but we must always keep in mind that they are waiting for our call because they must not violate the rule of our free will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">But help (in the form in which we expect it) sometimes will not come if we have to learn a lesson or if it is not the right time for its manifestation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Yet the realization that we are not alone makes it easier for us to deal more bravely with adversity and problems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And NEVER think that you don\u2019t deserve or aren\u2019t good for your helpers.\u00a0Remember that they know your soul and your path better than you do.\u00a0It\u2019s like saying a parent doesn\u2019t love their child because it was naughty.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>10. Be grateful<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I can\u2019t stress enough how grateful I am for my life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">And in those difficult days filled with emptiness, helplessness, and misery &#8211; I always found something I was grateful for.
