You have probably heard people say that \u00abEverything is energy\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And some people say that \u00abConsciousness is the foundation of the Universe. It\u00b4s everything\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And when the French philosopher og mathematician Ren\u00e9 Descartes split body from mind (and soul) the scientific focus was on body, the physical. On matter. Since then there has been a saying that \u00abmatter is all that matters\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

So which is it? What is saturating our universe?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Is consciousness everything?<\/p>\n

Is energy everything? or<\/p>\n

Is matter everything?<\/p>\n

They are all the same thing, at least according to theoretical physicist and professor Amit Goswami<\/strong> who was featured in the science-documentary \u00abWhat The Bleep Do We Know?\u00bb<\/p>\n

He says: \u201cMatter, energy and consciousness are the same. Everything is consciousness.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So how does it work?<\/p>\n

If consciousness is everything how come we have matter and energy?<\/p>\n

You are a physical being and you can verify yourself through your five senses: you can see yourself, smell yourself, hear yourself etc.<\/p>\n

You are a very real and solid person. You are physical. Your are matter.<\/p>\n

At the same time you are a thinking human being. Your thoughts are energy.<\/p>\n

The non-profit company Heartmath has for 25 years been studying the heart and the brain and how they communicate with each other and what they emit.<\/p>\n

Both the heart and the brain emit electrical and magnetic fields.<\/strong> And these fields can be measured up to 3 feet away from the body.<\/p>\n

So, your thoughts are not just in your head. They ripple outwards and we can use EEG and MEG machines to measure their electrical and magnetic activity.<\/p>\n

You as a human being have a body that is matter, but you also have a mind \u2013 your are a thinking being. And mind is energy. Every thought you have is a unique electro-magnetic unit.<\/p>\n

And we know from Einstein that energy and matter are two sides of the same coin: e=mc^2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So you are matter and you are mind, but it doesn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n

You are a three-fold being of BODY, MIND & SOUL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, if body is matter and mind is energy then soul must be consciousness, right?<\/p>\n

Yes, this is how I see it and I\u2019ve illustrated it with the image below.<\/p>\n

MATTER = BODY<\/strong>
\nENERGY = MIND<\/strong>
\nCONSCIOUSNESS = SOUL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many spiritual people talk about The One. All That Is and that we are This One. Just like all the cells in your body make up the One Body that is you.<\/p>\n

On a larger scale we are like the cells in the\u00a0Cosmic Body of The One.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is really only One Of Us Here.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So in truth there is really just One Soul<\/strong>. And this One Soul splits itself into soul-aspects<\/strong> and we are those soul aspects.<\/p>\n

So, if everything is like a giant sea of consciousness then the soul must be an aspect or a unique point of consciousness. The One Soul is experience itself through each unique point of consciousness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are a unique point. I am a unique point. We all are.<\/p>\n

In fact, Thomas Toward (1847-1916)<\/strong> who was a judge and an english author, wrote something called The Divine Operation where he talks about this unique point we all are.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mind is a center of Divine operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression, and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in past experience, though proceeding out of it by orderly sequence of growth.<\/em><\/p>\n

Therefore, since the Divine cannot change it\u2019s inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner in me; Consequently in my own special world, in which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before. \u201d

You are a unique point of consciousness, like everyone else.<\/p>\n

So, consciousness can take the form of both energy and matter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I often take walks in nature to clear my mind and get inspired to see things in a new way.<\/p>\n

On one of my walks I saw consciousness as this giant sea or ocean. I then saw how waves were rolling across the sea representing or being symbolic of energy.<\/p>\n

And then if you take a cup of water from these waves of energy and freeze the water \u2013 it becomes solid. It becomes matter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is all connected \u2013 just different forms of the same thing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything arises from consciousness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The energy is \u00absurfacing\u00bb on top it and energy can \u00abchange into\u00bb matter if the frequencies are lowered enough. Then it becomes what we perceive as matter.<\/p>\n

So what? Why is this information of value?\u00a0How does it help you?<\/p>\n

When you arrive at the understanding that everything is consciousness then you know how everything is connected.<\/p>\n

This will make you realize that the way you think and feel will cause ripples in this vast sea of energy\/consciousness.<\/p>\n

Just like throwing a stone into a pond. It ripples outwards.<\/p>\n

Your ripples (thoughts, feelings, energy and vibration) influence your own life and the rest of creation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As such your thoughts, feelings and energy matter.<\/p>\n
